# CLAUDE.md

Claude Code reads this file at the start of every session. Block-level HTML
comments like this one are stripped before Claude sees the file, so they cost
no context. Delete them once you've read them.

Keep the file short: aim for well under 200 lines. For each line, ask: would
removing it cause Claude to make mistakes? If not, cut it.
Replace every "..." and delete every section you don't need.

## Project

<!-- Main folders: list only the ones Claude can't work out from the code. -->

- What this is: ...
- Main folders: `...`
- Project status lives in: `project/status.json`

## Commands

<!-- Exact commands Claude can't guess, copy-pasteable. "Done means" is the check that proves the work is finished. -->

- Install: `...`
- Build: `...`
- Test one file: `...`
- Done means: `...` passes

## How we work

- For changes to more than a few files, propose a plan first and wait for my OK.
- After meaningful work, update the project status file: what's done, what's next, what's waiting on me.
- Show evidence when you say something works: the command you ran and its output.
- Commit only the files you changed, by name. Never `git add .` or `git add -A`.
- If the same check fails three times, stop and tell me what you tried.

## Don't

<!-- Think of secrets, generated folders and files another tool owns. -->

- Don't edit: `...`
- Don't deploy, publish, send or delete anything without my explicit OK.

## Code style

<!-- Only rules that differ from the defaults of your language. Delete if none. -->

- ...

## Other agents

<!--
If you also use Codex, Cursor or another agent that reads AGENTS.md, put the
shared rules there and replace this section with one line containing an
at-sign followed by AGENTS.md. Claude Code then imports that file and reads
it before the rest of this one.
